| Abstract | Results of a complete, high-sensitivity, filled aperture, 21-cm hydrogen line survey of M31 are presented. These observations were made with the 100-meter Bonn radio telescope whose beamwidth at this wavelength is 8.8 min. The data are displayed as velocity profiles, contour maps, and photographs of the distribution of line intensity. A brief discussion is given of a few of the unusual features in the measured H I distribution and velocity field of M31. An extended (greater than 30 deg) high-velocity feature in the northern region of M31 is noted. |
