| Abstract | A list of optical warped spiral galaxies with basic position and geometrical parameters is presented. From this list an attempt to determine the frequency of warped discs has been made. All northern NGC high inclined spirals were examined in the Palomar Observatory Sky Survey. Warps were observed in about half of these galaxies, which indicate that nearly all spiral galaxies are warped. |
