Source Nomenclature

The Source Nomenclature service can be used to (1) look up the definitions for catalog acronyms, or (2) look up all acronyms with a given substring in their definition. Also returned are object types for the catalog, NED reference code, and links to the original catalog data (where available). Results are returned in paged and sortable tables.

To use this service, enter part or all of the acronym of interest or a string that may be part of its definition. The results represent the intersection of the two constraints. Entering no constraints and clicking on the GO button will give the full list of acronyms.
